Paul English PhD ’92, MPH ’85 is the senior branch scientific advisor for the Environmental Health Investigations Branch at the California Department of Public Health. He focuses on the health effects of pesticides, air pollution, and climate change; citizen science; environmental health issues at the United States/Mexico border; and environmental health surveillance. He was a World Health Organization adviser contributing to a systematic review of health indicators of climate change and has assisted local government and health agencies in India on heat preparedness.
